The One Where We Hit PBs, Hit the Trails, and Hit the Tiramisu!
As we round up September we're looking back at our strong women once again making amazing progress, this time in their squat programme, our Yoga cards making class even more personal, a fun social walk in the park, and a delicious dinner at our local Italian, Babbo!

Squat PBs all Round
Everyone in Strong Woman Club got a PB in their squat programme, whether that meant lifting heavier, getting deeper, feeling more confident or simply enjoying squatting more. As always in SWC, members choose what they do and how they do it. Some racked up the back squats, others pushed themselves with the landmine squats, the kettlebells got a play, and we even pulled out the witch's squat... and it's not even Halloween yet!
There's no rest for the wicked though, and we're already onto our next programme. Our ladies are progressing their bench press and hip thrusts, all whilst attempting to climb Killimanjaro on the ski erg!

A Social Walk from Prestwich Clough
A social walk at the start of September took us off exploring some of the amazing countryside and trails right on our doorstep. A group of us walked from Prestwich Clough to Clifton, taking the 'long way round' (if you know, you know!), and stopped for a cake break at the cafe in Clifton Country Park before heading back (the right way!). The sun shone (which in Manchester, we'll never take for granted!) and a great afternoon was had by all.
Supper Club at Babbo

Supper Club took us to Babbo for a delicious Italian meal. We feel so privileged to have such a range of restaurants on our doorstep that choosing is genuinely the hardest part! So far, Supper Club has taken us to Codi's Kitchen, Anatolian Grill, and Babbo... where should we go next? Suggestions welcome, we realise the gravity of this decision!
Yoga Cards: A New Addition From our Members

A new addition to our yoga classes, suggested by our members, has elevated our trauma-informed and neuro-spicy friendly approach. Some people love an adjustment in yoga, while for others it's very much a hands-off space. So, we've made cards that can easily be placed on the mat to let our fabulous teachers know how you're feeling that day, or even just in the moment. No awkward guessing, no mind reading required!
We run yoga classes throughout the week at different times, all offering something a bit different. If you haven't tried one yet, we'd love to see you there.
